pot + box is thrilled to host tiffanie turner, author of the fine art of paper flowers, in detroit this fall:
in this workshop, tiffanie will teach you to make beautiful and realistic garden cosmos flowers in different hues and finishes, and will also demonstrate how to create a delicate cosmos leaf. each student will make at least one flower, and be given materials to make more at home.

if you have a pair of scissors you enjoy cutting paper with, please feel free to bring them with you.

light refreshments will be provided.

note: students enrolling in both workshops will receive a free copy of the fine art of paper flowers. copies of the book will also be available for purchase at the event.

about tiffanie: 
tiffanie turner is a fine artist specializing in botanical-based sculpture. she is also a licensed california architect, an instructor, and the author of the fine art of paper flowers (august 2017 on ten speed press). 

her work has been exhibited at tower hill botanical garden, bedford gallery, jack fischer gallery, the san jose institute of contemporary art, san francisco's asian art museum, and at the de young museum in san francisco during a month-long artist residency in 2016.

tiffanie’s work has appeared in vogue, american craft, the san francisco chronicle, and o, the oprah magazine and been featured online on design*sponge, the jealous curator, and poppytalk, among others.

raised in the woods of new hampshire, tiffanie now resides with her husband and two children in san francisco, california, where she has lived for the past twenty years.
