At Joseph’s workshop, you will be creating a spectacular large scale floral art installation, to be exhibited in the Detroit Public Library’s Exhibition Hall. In this historic space, we’ll be creating a suspend floral art installation using thousands of America’s finest seasonal blooms. With a theme of connectivity, community and harmony, this spectacular floral installation which you will help to create is expected to fill a space of over 3000 sq feet, held within one of Detroit's most incredible spaces.
Throughout the day, you will complete elements of solo work, combined with plenty of team work to discover the mechanics required for large scale installations, learn the considerations and practical application of the techniques required, and collaborate with your fellow participants to complete what will truly be a heart stopping floral installation for all Detroit Flower Week visitors to enjoy.
